LEAD PASTOR

Jordan Yerkes joined the Burton Hill Family in 2011. He became the associate pastor of Burton Hill Baptist Church in 2015, after serving 7 months as the interim pastor. With 9 years of experience as the associate he became lead pastor in 2024. Jordan loves Jesus and wants to lead others in knowing God as their greatest joy and satisfaction.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Music degree (2008) with emphasis in Piano Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University. From 2008-2022 he worked for Garland Pipe Organs as the installation foreman, voicing technician and tuner. In 2023 he began working for Wolf Pipe organs as a tuner and repair technician, where he continues to work part time. Jordan and his wife Heather live in Westworth Village with their six children.

MINISTER OF MUSIC

Kughaho Chishi has served on staff at Burton Hill Baptist Church as the Minister of Music since January 2012. He was born and raised in Nagaland, India. Prior to coming to the United States, Chishi served as Assistant Professor of music theory and director of Patkai Chorale for eight years at Patkai Christian College in his home country.

Chishi holds a Bachelor of Church Music degree in conducting and ethnomusicology (1994), and a Master of Church Music degree in conducting and composition from the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music in Manila, Philippines (1999).

YOUTH DIRECTOR

Seth Lonbeck became the Youth Director of Burton Hill Baptist Church in January 2025. Prior to this, Seth spent over a year as the Youth Intern at Waxahachie Bible Church. Seth's passion is to see youth know Jesus and grow in their faith through discipleship.

Seth was born and raised in Oregon and lived there most of his life until late 2020 when he moved to Texas. Seth holds an Associate degree in Biblical Studies from Shasta Bible College (2018) in Redding, California and a Bachelor in Bible and Theology from Multnomah University (2024) in Portland, Oregon. Since 2016 Seth has worked in a variety of fields, most recently as a substitute teacher, which he still does part time. Seth met his wife Jennifer shortly after he arrived in Texas at a young adult retreat in Kentucky and they were married in March 2022. They now live in Azle.

CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR

Heather Yerkes became a part of the Burton Hill Family in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree (2008) with certification in Piano Pedagogy from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a private piano instructor and accompanist.

Heather and her husband have a heart for local and international missions and foster care/adoption. Heather has led VBS programs, outreach events, youth activities, and Bible studies both locally in the church and on international trips. She and Jordan live in Westworth Village with their six children.

WOMEN’S DIRECTOR

Amy Stites and has been a part of the Burton Hill Family since 2010. She has previously served in BHBC Grow Youth. Amy began leading the Women’s Ministry at Burton Hill in 2020 and is also currently serving in BHBC Kids and on the Worship Team. Amy is committed to the call of Christ and is passionate about coming alongside women to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus through the study of God’s Word. Amy and her husband, Lindsay, have been married since 2000 and have two children together.

MISSION PASTOR

Lanu Lemtur is the Mission Pastor at Burton Hill Baptist Church. He is the senior pastor of the First Naga Baptist Church that meets on Sunday afternoons at BHBC. The First Naga Baptist Church was planted in 2019. Lanu and his wife Limakumla Jamir live in Fort Worth with their son.
